Hard Jawz is an underground emcee based in the San Antonio, Texas scene and a member of Shrunken Head Entertainment. His music moves between horrorcore, underground hip-hop, and character-driven storytelling.
Hard Jawz has been putting his own stamp on underground rap since releasing DHJMT in 2007. By the time Hard Jawz Presents DHJMT Vol. 3 arrived in 2016, he had developed a style that could be grim and aggressive one moment, then shift into vivid storytelling or dark humor the next.
Hard Jawz returned to wider digital distribution with Mare Creatura in 2019. He followed with the original version of The Miserable Myth of Mike D, Singled Out, and collaborations with other underground artists including Razakel, Insane Loc, BVNE, Hoax, ORIVX, Damien Quinn, and Lilith the Sinful.
The 2024 album Sharkboi featured collaborations with Insane Loc, BVNE, ORIVX, and Lilith the Sinful. In 2026, Hard Jawz released a new ten-track edition of The Miserable Myth of Mike D, continuing the Mike D concept and his association with Shrunken Head Entertainment.
