[name_withheld]

There are many words that you could use to describe [name_withheld]: vulgar, offensive, disgusting, provocative, dangerous. Above all else, however, he is determined. Determined to make people uncomfortable and provoke the deepest fears they have nestled inside.

Beneath the over-the-top lyrics and unpredictable stage shows lies a seething commentary on and observation of the evils, hidden agendas, and self-inflicted hell of this world. [name_withheld] fearlessly dares people to open their eyes to society around them as it falls apart.

Banned from venues, feared by less-than-scrupulous promoters, and liked by many fellow artists, he pushes not only the boundaries of censorship and depravity, but pushes fellow artists to do their best and reach for the proverbial brass ring.

Directed by insomnia, drug abuse, and severe emotional instability, [name_withheld] has an insidious drive to stab and bludgeon his way to the top of the music industry. Completely uncensored, [name_withheld] relates tales of violence, torture, abuse, and delivers scathing political and societal views, and refuses to let anyone tell him what is or isn’t supposed to come out of his mouth.

2011-2012 – The Darkness
This is the beginning period of [name_withheld] as a project. Having crossed over from creating various forms of electronica as dJ_MoBo, this marked the first time vocals are added into production outside of samples from movies and other sources.

The Darkness features a collection of 15 tracks, ranging from Kottonmouth Kings ripoff tracks like “All Day/Everyday,” dead baby jokes like “Amateur Abortion Hour,” and outright Slashercore™ favorites like “Murked.” It was shittily recorded in a closet with absolutely no sound treatment with a Radioshack microphone hanging from a bent metal clothes hanger like an unwanted baby in the woods.

Once it was mixed, mastered, and pressed, a handful of copies were sold before the rest were left in random parts of Detroit while [name] was there to perform at Strictly for the Wicked (also his first show.) This performance was notable as it featured him booting a helpless victim pretty stiffly repeatedly around the stage as he performed.

[name_withheld] spent the remain time working on his follow-up EP, Revenge, smoking crack, and terrorizing the countryside in search of blood sacrifices. He would also occasionally perform at a Youngstown, Ohio-based venue called “the Lower Level,” where he was given several nicknames: “the marilyn manson of horrorcore,” “that guy that hangs off of railings and balconies,” “that weird goth kid with the mask,” and, “that guy that buys us all booze and feeds us drugs.” Good times.
