Puddle of Blood was a side project featuring: Dizman and Keymaster of the Detroit Horror Rock band “Dead by 28”. The two ringleaders collaborated with Detroit legendary Producer Mike E Clark and was originally intended for release on his record label “B4 Records: EDGE”. When MEC heard the demo’s for the POB album (2003) he asked to be a part of the project and wanted to release it on his B4 records label. MEC wrote some music/songs and lyrics, recorded vocals, engineered and produced some of the music that appears on “The 666th Symphony” before exiting the band to pursue other musical endeavors.
When B4 records folded in 2004 the founding members started their own label…Black 13 Recordings and then released their debut album “The 666th Symphony” in 2005. The band followed up with a FREE Remix EP that was released in 2006, and a few other song releases in 2007-2009. The project has been on hiatus as the founding members continue to write and record music with their main project “Dead by 28”. Puddle of Blood claims to have invented a new genre of electronic rap punk, that they call HATEHOP.
POB also collaborated with Davey Gravey (formerly of Bag of Hammers) who was the Hype-man for the group, although he never appeared at a single live performance, his back up vocals appear on the album.
