Formless Figures was an underground hip-hop group from Detroit consisting of members Dialtone (DIAL81), Mr. Pickles, Secondhand, and Picturetone (Todd Modes).
The project originated in 2003, shortly after the run of the group Level Jumpers, with early recordings laid down at Galactica, the studio owned by Detroit rap mainstay The R.O.C. Initially intended as a solo effort, the project evolved into a full-fledged crew, bringing together sharp lyricism and experimental production.
